Inspire and Empower Our Students
At La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls, our strong network of alumnae is a cornerstone of our community, embodying the values and spirit of our school. We believe that your experiences and insights can profoundly impact our current students. Here are some meaningful ways you can contribute and engage with the next generation of wahine leaders:
Join Our New Mentorship Program: La Pietra's Mentorship Program pairs juniors with professionals for one-on-one guidance as they complete their Independent Projects as part of the Junior Seminar Class. Mentors commit approximately 2–4 hours per month (August–December) and support students through personalized check-ins and career conversations.
Visit Campus to Speak in Co-Curr Assemblies or Classroom Settings: Share your experiences and professional journey by speaking to students. Your stories can enrich their learning and expand their career aspirations.
Connect with New Graduates Heading to Your Alma Mater: Help ease the transition for recent graduates who will be attending the same college or university you did. Your guidance can provide them with valuable insights and connections as they start this new chapter.
Attend a "Talk Story" Lunch with Seniors: Join our seniors for a casual and engaging lunch session where you can share your college experiences and answer their questions. This informal setting fosters meaningful conversations and practical advice.
Write Letters to the Graduating Class: Share your wisdom, advice, and encouragement with our graduating students. Your personal reflections and success stories can inspire and motivate them as they embark on their own journeys.
Your involvement not only helps our students, but also strengthens our La Pietra community. We invite you to be a part of these impactful opportunities and make a difference in the lives of young women!
