Located on the former Dillingham Estate, nestled at the foot of Diamond Head, La Pietra is a secluded but conveniently located venue for your special event. Originally designed by David Adler, the campus boasts architecture reminiscent of an Italian villa, providing a picturesque backdrop for your milestone memories.
We are pleased to offer our outdoor venues for private event rental. These include the Great Lawn, Fountain Courtyard, Julia Brown Courtyard and on-site parking areas. We have a modest kitchen space with refrigeration and counter space for food preparation.
Our general pricing documents are posted below for your review. Key requirements are noted here; detailed information is included in our policies.
- Procurement of a professional event planner, liability insurance, and off-duty police officer(s) are required for all events.
- In consideration of our neighbors, event and all amplified sound must end no later than 9:00pm.
- Campus should be returned to pre-rental condition before the gates close at 11:0o PM.
- All setup and breakdown must occur within the rental period.
Rates posted are for events booked now and are based on guest count and rental time needed to include set up and breakdown time.

Campus use fees are due in full two weeks prior to your event.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit is required (along with a signed contract) to book your date. Events up to 4 hours require a $1,000 deposit; events over 4 hours require a $2,000 deposit at the time of booking. Cancellation of an event results in forfeiture of the security deposit. The security deposit less applicable fees will be returned 1-2 weeks post-event.
Dates are released by academic year as we plan around school-related events, one year at a time.
We are currently booking available rental dates for our current school year, through the end of June. Dates for July through next June will be available in April.
Once you have decided on a date and are ready to proceed with booking, you will need a signed agreement and security deposit to hold your date (see rates section above).
