Life outside the classroom should be just as enriching as life within it. At Hawai‘i School for Girls at La Pietra, we offer a wide array of activities and programs designed to foster leadership, collaboration, and an understanding of diverse perspectives. All of these activities are centered around the Hawaiian concept of kahiau, a way of life in which one gives selflessly without expectation of return or reward.
La Pietra's strong community support allowed me to step out of my shell and become a confident young woman prepared for the challenges I will face after high school.

Hawai‘i School for Girls at La Pietra is a small school, but girls are not limited in the ways they can be involved. In fact, our size provides girls with even more opportunities to be leaders. These include student government, athletics, clubs and organizations, and peer leadership.
Whether running for class officer, serving as a peer leader, playing a sport, or participating in community service projects, students develop skills valuable to them long after graduation.
