In March, Emma received her trophy at school after being named the 2022 Honolulu District Spelling Bee Runner-Up. Head of School Josh Watson presented her with the award and National Honor Society (NHS) advisors Mrs. Shari Lynn and Ms. Miya Huang gathered to congratulate her on the accomplishment. Emma also received a Barnes and Noble gift card as part of her prize.

Congratulations on this big win, Emma! We know you'll represent La Pietra and Hawaii well. We'll be cheering you on from across the Pacific!
