Tuition Information

Tuition supports La Pietra’s academic and extracurricular programs, one-to-one laptop program, outstanding faculty, beautiful facilities, and much more. We understand that choosing an independent school is a major financial undertaking for families; while tuition doesn’t cover the full cost of educating a student at La Pietra, we are committed to keeping tuition as affordable and accessible as possible. Tuition costs are reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees.

Tuition Payment Plans

  • Annual Payment: Tuition is payable in one payment on or before July 31, 2023. If payment is not received by the opening date of school, Tuition Refund Insurance (TRI) will be automatically charged.

  • Semester Plan: Tuition is payable in two installments, with the first payment on or before July 31, 2023; the balance of the tuition is due on or before December 29, 2023. TRI is required with this option.

  • Monthly Plan: Tuition is payable in advance in 10 payments due by the last business day of each month beginning July 31, 2023 and ending April 30, 2024. TRI is required with this option.

Tuition Refund Insurance

Because the financial commitment of enrollment and tuition costs are for the full academic year, La Pietra offers Tuition Refund Insurance to all families. The plan provides insurance against financial losses incurred during the academic year due to withdrawals, dismissals, or extended medical absence and provides substantial assistance in meeting a family's tuition obligation. The premium for the 2023-2024 school year is 2.5% of the annual tuition (this rate is subject to change) and is due by July 31.

The Tuition Refund Insurance is required for the Monthly and Semester plans, and is optional with the Annual Plan.

Other Expenses

Families may incur additional expenses during the school year, which are not covered by tuition. Some additional expenses may include:

  • Each student will pay an annual $400 technology fee.
  • La Pietra students purchase school supplies and school uniforms.
  • La Pietra students purchase textbooks, with the costs varying depending on a student’s grade level and course selection.
  • Class photos, dances, voluntary trips, etc.
