La Pietra Tech & Family Fun Fair Promises Day of Innovation and Entertainment

La Pietra – Hawai‘i School for Girls invites the community to experience a celebration of technology seamlessly blended with education and entertainment at the upcoming Tech & Family Fun Fair, set to take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event promises an unforgettable day filled with cutting-edge gadgets, interactive displays, and family-friendly activities.
Designed to captivate the curiosity of all ages, La Pietra's Tech & Family Fun Fair places a special emphasis on inspiring young students to explore innovative technology. Attendees can anticipate immersing themselves in a realm of discovery, exploring interactive displays and hands-on experiences such as virtual reality and a flight simulator. Additionally, TechTalks will provide opportunities for guests to hear from industry experts and broaden their knowledge on various tech-related topics.
Not only can guests experience the latest tech, but there will also be food, carnival-style games and prizes, and the opportunity to shop local by supporting women-owned businesses. A number of which include those founded by La Pietra alumnae, like Black Sheep Cream Co., delicious handcrafted ice cream, and Every Day Better by Green Meadows, an eco-conscious boutique in Kaimuki. La Pietra Senior Megu Kurita will also be showcasing clothes and accessories from her own online store, Minimalist Self.
"Our Tech & Family Fun Fair aims to highlight the many possibilities of technology while fostering a sense of community and support for local businesses, especially those led by talented women entrepreneurs," says La Pietra Head of School Jennifer Grems. “We are thrilled to welcome the community to our campus to experience this exciting event!”
