La Pietra to host Yoga Event Sculpt for Scholarships

May 11th, 2022

Now's your chance to sculpt and tone on La Pietra's picturesque Great Lawn – and help girls pursue a purposeful education, too!

Taking place during select dates this June, Sculpt for Scholarships is a series of four classes taught by a certified yoga instructor. The outdoor classes will include sculpting and toning postures taught to a range of music, including 90's jams, a little rock 'n' roll and some upbeat remixes. All levels are welcome!

“I’m so excited to combine my love of movement and empowering others to benefit such a phenomenal program,” said yoga instructor Alex King. “The students at La Pietra continuously impress me with their big hearts, ambition and work ethic. They are so deserving of the opportunity for a top tier education and being a small part of that process is priceless.”

There is a suggested donation of $125 to participate in the series, and 100 percent of donations will directly support La Pietra's Financial Aid Program.

“Sculpt for Scholarships is a chance to move your body and be active in a beautiful setting while helping make education accessible to all,” said La Pietra’s Director of Advancement & Alumnae Relations Leah Lee. “At La Pietra, we’re proud of our strong financial aid program and the support it provides to so many outstanding students. We’re thrilled to invite you to join us in empowering these amazing young women.”

Register today and leave class feeling strong, confident, and knowing you helped to support La Pietra students!
