GLOBAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM


Welcoming students from Hakuho Girls' High School – Fall 2023

Through the Hawai‘i School for Girls at La Pietra Global Exchange Program, students will have the opportunity to experience a short-term, immersive stay at our partner schools, subject to availability: 

  • Hakuho Girls’ High School (Yokohama, Japan)
  • Crofton House School (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
  • Pymble Ladies College (Pymble, New South Wales, Australia)

High school students in Grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply. Applicants must maintain good academic and behavioral standing. Some proficiency in the language of the destination country is highly recommended. Each student and their family must be willing to host a sister-school student. In rare cases, Hawai‘i School for Girls may arrange alternative hosting, though a reciprocal one-to-one arrangement is preferred to strengthen the cross-cultural exchange partnership.

Hakuho Girls’ High School in Yokohama, Japan

  • September 5 – September 19, 2026: Hakuho at Hawai‘i School for Girls
  • September 26 – October 10, 2026: Hawai‘i School for Girls attends Hakuho

Apply FOR THE Canada EXCHANGE

Crofton House in Vancouver, Canada

  • October 18 – November 1, 2026: Crofton House visits Hawai‘i School for Girls

  • April 10 – 24, 2027: Hawai‘i School for Girls visits Crofton House
