Cheyne Nomura is the Registrar & College Counselor at La Pietra – Hawaiʻi School for Girls. As Registrar, Mr. Nomura oversees student records and course/student scheduling, along with coordinating testing (AP, PSAT, ERB) and textbook acquisition. As the College Counselor, he helps to guide students through the college-applications process, which includes teaching the Senior Seminar class and managing Scoir, as well as serves as Treasurer-Elect for the The Hawaiʻi Association for College Admission Counseling (HACAC). He earned his BA in English with a minor in Film Studies and M.Ed. in Secondary Education, both from Hawaii Pacific University.
