COVID-19 Updates

La Pietra - Hawaii School for Girls is actively monitoring the recent spread of COVID-19. As an educational institution, our priority is the health and safety of all those who learn and work at our campus. Please use this page to view information, updates and school guidelines during this rapidly evolving situation.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

  • DISTANCE LEARNING: WEDNESDAY, AUG. 12 - FRIDAY, AUG. 21
  • RETURN TO CAMPUS: MONDAY, AUG. 24

Aloha La Pietra ʻOhana,

This email is to announce a decision to transition to Distance Learning starting Wednesday, August 12 through Friday August 21. At this time, we plan to resume in person classes for all students Monday, August 24.

We greatly appreciate our entire community's understanding and cooperation as we've navigated the start of this academic year. Health and safety is and remains our utmost priority. This decision to move to distance learning reflects our consistent monitoring of the statewide COVID-19 surge.

While we firmly believe our campus is uniquely positioned to offer a safe learning environment with open-air spaces, small class sizes, and numerous facility upgrades, we acknowledge that we must do our part to flatten the current spike of COVID-19 cases on Oahu. We are confident that by helping flatten the curve we will be able to offer a safer return to campus later this month. Please continue to check your emails and our Instagram and Facebook feeds for immediate updates. View full schedule details here.

Below are daily updates regarding operations, new information, or cancelations that directly impact the La Pietra community.
