Forensic Science Just like the guys on C.S.I (minus the body), girls will use clues to solve the mystery of a “crime” while learning important observation, analytic and technology skills. They’ll have to think like forensic scientists as they gather and analyze physical evidence using all types of technology.

They’ll use FACES software to make a face of a suspect and Adobe Photoshop CS3 to evaluate fingerprints they’ve collected and dusted. They’ll analyze footprints, handwriting, hair, cloth and blood samples -- all using special computer software, a digital camera and an HD video camera.

Computer Animation Is your daughter fascinated by Wall-E and Nemo? She can make her own story come alive in this four-week course where she’ll learn the animation process from scriptwriting, cartoon drawing, voice and audio recording and Flash animation. At the end – a short animated video of her very own.
Art Unleash your daughter’s imagination this summer. Girls can find their own creative voice in this hands-on art session using various techniques and materials such as recycled materials, charcoal, paint, pen and ink and clay. Girls will draw, paint, make jewelry, use mixed-media, sculpt with clay and invent. They’ll also get a touch of art history and see art from a cultural perspective.
Recreational Sports There’s nothing quite like summer for playing and fun – swimming, volleyball, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, etc. This session is chock full of movement, games and sports that girls love – or may learn to love!
Math in Motion Math comes alive in this common sense and uncommonly creative approach to how numbers and equations are part of our daily lives – shopping, cooking, scheduling, etc. Check out this out-of-the-books way to hone those basic skills!
