Schools and their students thrive when parents are an involved part of the campus community.   

We respect this partnership immensely, and encourage parents to take active roles in supporting their daughter’s journey through their years here.At La Pietra, this is particularly true, since we believe that an excellent educational experience requires a strong partnership between school and home. 

The La Pietra Parent Faculty Association (PFA) provides the vital link between school and family and its role in building the community of the school is invaluable.  The PFA welcomes volunteer support from parents at all grade levels and sponsors activities that support both curricular and non-curricular programs.

New parents are welcomed through New Student Orientation, school publications, special events, athletic events, and monthly PFA informational emails. New parents also attend the Newcomers’ and Seniors’ Tea early in the fall to meet administrators, teachers, other new parents and their daughters, and parents of graduating seniors.
