The results from the annual American Mathematics Competition (AMC) are in, and La Pietra students have won honors for themselves, their families and their school. La Pietra’s highest scoring students were recognized during a Co-Curr assembly in front of the entire student body.
The AMC helps to identify, recognize and reward excellence in mathematics. The high school competition was held on February 7, 2012. Thirty La Pietra students from grades 10-12 sat for the rigorous test of mathematical skill. The 75-minute exam was composed of 25 multiple-choice questions that tested concepts up through the pre-calculus level.
