Mahalo to all of our La Pietra parents who helped to Plant a Seed for Your Daughter's Future by making a gift to the annual fund.

Gifts to the annual fund provide the dollars necessary to help operate the school by bridging the gap between the resources that tuition provides and the actual cost of educating each student. In short, the annual fund provides the roots for success in college and beyond.

As of October 31, 2013, we have achieved a record level of overall parent participation of 70%! Well done! A strong percentage of participation by parents in the annual fund demonstrates that our parents believe in the school and helps to secure large gifts from major donors and foundations.

As of October 31, 2013, we have achieved the following rates of parent participation for each class:

Grade LevelClassPercent
  7  201986%
92017 63%
 10  2016 39%
 112015 64%
 122014 61%

The Class of 2018 will receive a malasada party for achieving the highest percentage! Congratulations, 8th Grade!

We are grateful to all of our parents who demonstrated their belief in a La Pietra education with their gifts to the annual fund.

And remember, every gift, no matter what the size, counts towards participation and has a positive impact. It's not too late! Parents may continue to make donations to the annual fund until the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2014) to make a difference.

Thank you in advance for your generous support and consideration!
