DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT AND ALUMNAE RELATIONS
- La Pietra - Hawaii School for Girls is seeking a Director of Advancement and Alumnae Relations who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans to maximize financial support for the school; as well as the coordination of alumnae relations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred), and 2-4 years of demonstrated success in fund-raising and development, preferably in an independent school environment.
The position requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills to cultivate and maintain the highest degree of professionalism when generating correspondences and content for publication, in addition to the ability to work well as part of a team. The candidate should exhibit highly developed organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, discretion and judgement in decision making, and enthusiastically represent the school and its core values.

MIDDLE SCHOOL/UPPER SCHOOL SCIENCE/MATH TEACHER
La Pietra - Hawaii School for Girls, a college preparatory all girls school, is seeking applicants for the position of Middle School Science/Math and Upper School Math Teacher grades 6-12, beginning in Fall 2016.
A successful candidate will hold a BA or MA in Math, Science, or a related field, have teaching experience with both middle and high school students preferably in an independent school, and be knowledgeable and grounded in best practices in teaching math and science. This position consists of a full-time teaching load with both middle school and upper school classes, a homeroom responsibility, and involvement in extra-curricular and co-curricular advisory and supervisory positions as needed. Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues, effectively communicate within the school community, and positively impact student learning is essential.
